AM: I did one easy, slow trip over the ridge. Once again my back was extremely painful. I've never had a lower back strain last this long before.

PM: 12 mile bike ride consisting of 3 Parkway repeats. Surprisingly my back didn't hurt much on the bike, so I may be doing more biking and less running for a while.

Back pain is no fun.

So sorry to see you out of the loop for so long. :)

I'm not totally out of the loop! I did get 60 miles (slow miles) in last week!

I'm still waiting for the HR thing to work itself out though.

Ah, I see. Just not blogging those miles? Wish I'd had 60 last week!

I just don't want to keep whining about the 'issues' I'm dealing with! :)

That and it's sort of been vacation. I did go down to the club run on Saturday, though I only ran 5.

How's running (and life) going for you? What's your next event?

From Snoqualmie on Tue, Aug 31, 2010 at 16:24:23 from 24.18.192.33

Winthrop Marathon in a little less than 4 weeks. My training has not been quite what I wanted this summer. So many d--- interruptions, stuff that was out of my control, like visiting relatives. But my 10K at RR Days went so well that I might be ok. Goal 1 + a PR, goal 2 = BQ (not likely). Thanks so much for asking.
