This was another easy recovery run in my new X-Talon shoes. I need to get miles on them to see if they'll work out for my upcoming 50k.

Welcome Dave! That was a lot of fun to hang out with you and your wife in Newport...

Welcome to the blog, Dave! It was great to meet you and your wife in Newport. I've got some questions regarding what you said about training at dinner the other night, but I'll start asking a little later. I need to review what I can remember first.

Thanks for the welcome! It was fun to meet everyone and chat over dinner. That's one of the most fun parts of traveling to marathons for me.

Welcome to the blah, blah, blog! I'm new to the Snoqualmie Ridge area & new to marathon training. Sno & Sno Ridge Runner have been great cheerleaders and super helpful with training tips. I'm glad to have another local runner on here so I can pick your brain as well :) WELCOME!

Thanks, and my brain is always available for a good picking!

Oh, I saw you do some rock climbing? Outdoor? I climbed for one summer - mostly at exit 38 - and really enjoyed it. However my climbing buddy moved, and I rarely get out anymore :(
